Terms of Use

1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern use of the Cisr Android phone, Wear OS, iPhone, and Apple Watch applications. By installing or using Cisr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Cisr. You must be legally capable of accepting these Terms in your jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded or limited.
2. Service
Cisr is an independent companion application that uses supported operating-system, Bluetooth, notification, media, call-control, and health interfaces to connect compatible devices. Features may vary by device, region, operating-system version, third-party application, permission, and manufacturer service. Cisr does not promise compatibility with every device or future software version.
3. Important feature limitations
Call controls may answer, decline, or end a supported call, but Cisr does not route call audio through the watch speaker or microphone. Cisr does not provide emergency calling. Notification actions, media metadata, media commands, background operation, and health transfer are available only when supported by the connected devices and services.
The current two-phone notification feature supports one compatible Wear OS watch, its existing native-paired Android companion and an additional Cisr connection to an iPhone. It is not a replacement for the manufacturer's initial watch setup and does not create two native pairings. It does not currently provide an Apple Watch-to-Android notification connection. Availability in a test release does not mean the feature is available in every store release.
Each phone is managed separately. A connection indicator does not guarantee that notifications, media and health are all available; each depends on its own permissions and supported services. Android watch media controls require compatible Cisr versions on both devices, Notification Access and a supported player. Health Connect writing is not currently provided. The optional Android watch-health view displays the latest available values rather than a medical or historical record.
Disconnect pauses a Cisr source while keeping its registration. Remove phone requires confirmation and removes its Cisr registration and mirrored alerts from the watch, not the native Bluetooth pairing or data held in other apps. You are responsible for separately changing permissions on either phone when required. Duplicate notifications can occur if another companion app also forwards the same source. Delivery, ordering and background availability are not guaranteed; Cisr must not be relied on for emergency or time-critical communications.
Today’s Inbox is a local daily convenience view, not a permanent archive or guaranteed complete message history. Clearing it affects the shared watch archive. Android notification-supplied images may be displayed; Cisr does not offer general photo-gallery transfer or video playback, and ANCS does not provide iPhone app image attachments. Find phone requests an audible alert, not GPS tracking or an emergency service. Support tickets use an email/private conversation link; do not share that link or submit credentials/sensitive content.
4. Health disclaimer
Cisr is for general wellness and fitness purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, continuous clinical monitoring, or emergency alerts. Measurements may be delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate. Do not rely on Cisr for medical or emergency decisions; consult a qualified professional or emergency service when appropriate.
5. User responsibilities
You are responsible for using devices you own or are authorized to control, granting only permissions you understand, complying with applicable law, and not using Cisr to access another person's information without authorization. Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or use Cisr to violate privacy, intellectual-property, platform, or telecommunications rules.
6. Privacy
Use of Cisr is also governed by the Cisr Privacy Policy at https://cisr.watch/privacy.
7. Intellectual property and independent status
Cisr and its original software, visual design, and branding belong to the developer or applicable licensors. Cisr is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or approved by Apple, Google, Samsung, or any device manufacturer. Product and trademark names are used only to describe compatibility. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
8. Third-party services
Cisr relies on services and software supplied by device manufacturers, operating-system providers, app stores, and media or health platforms. Their terms and privacy policies may also apply. The developer does not control their availability or changes.
The Android companion uses Google Play services' Wear OS Data Layer. Transfers may be routed over a network through Google servers instead of Bluetooth. Cisr does not operate that relay and does not promise that information always remains on a local radio link. Any applicable network or mobile-data charges remain subject to your provider's terms.
9. Availability, updates, and warranty
Cisr may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, Cisr is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise of uninterrupted, error-free, or universally compatible operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by device incompatibility, third-party service changes, interrupted Bluetooth connections, delayed notifications, or use of Cisr contrary to these Terms. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer protections.
11. Premium subscriptions
Cisr Premium is an automatically renewing annual subscription. An active subscription, including a store-confirmed eligible trial, is required for Premium feature data flows such as notifications, Inbox, media, health and Find phone. Expiry does not intentionally disconnect the control connection: purchase verification, restoration and device/control status can remain available. Setup, subscription management and support remain accessible. Independent manufacturer companion functions are outside Cisr’s control. The store purchase sheet shows your local price, billing period, applicable taxes and any introductory offer before you confirm. A 14-day free trial is offered only to customers the store determines are eligible. Unless cancelled in time under the store's rules, the trial converts to the paid annual plan and the subscription renews at the price disclosed by the store. Do not rely on a website example price instead of the purchase sheet.
Manage or cancel in the subscriptions settings of the Apple Account or Google Account used to purchase. Deleting Cisr, removing a phone or disconnecting a watch does not cancel billing. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal, with access governed by the store's applicable rules. Refund requests are handled through the purchasing store, without limiting your mandatory consumer rights. Use Restore Purchases with the purchasing store account if access is missing.
Purchase only for features supported by your devices and the release you are using. A subscription does not add unsupported hardware capabilities or guarantee future platform compatibility. Test and sandbox transactions are governed by the relevant store testing environment.
An active Premium subscription may be shared for up to two supported enrolled phones through a compatible Wear OS watch. This is a capacity, not a claim that two phones are currently registered. Pair the watch carrying your existing subscription before purchasing on another platform. Shared access is not a second store subscription; billing, cancellation and restoration remain with the purchasing store. Verification requires a network connection and access may expire while offline. Restoring on the purchasing platform can move the subscription to a replacement watch; previously issued shared access can remain valid for up to one hour. Native Apple Watch cross-platform sharing is not included.
